Operating Systems:

  

The MallMaster is a Microsoft Windows based product.  It has been tested with Microsoft Windows operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

  

We do not recommend using the MallMaster with Windows XP - Home Edition or with the Microsoft "ME" Edition.

  

The program has not been tested with Windows 95 or Window 98 since these are older operating systems no longer being sold.

  

Memory Requirements:

  

Memory requirements are really a function of the operating system requirements and the applications running at the same time on the computer in order to provide adequate performance.  In general, the MallMaster will function adequately using the memory requirements specified for a given operating system plus Microsoft Office Suite.  For Windows XP this would be 512MB.

  

  

Hard Drive Space:

  

The MallMaster requires 100 Megabytes for the program itself plus space for data storage.  We recommend that you have at least .5 Gigabytes available for use by the MallMaster. (This is quite small for today's applications)

  

  

Equipment Supported:

  

The MallMaster supports all common devices that are supported by Windows, such as monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.

  

In addition, The MallMaster supports 4" roll paper printers (Receipt Printers) for Receipt printing, Bar Code Scanners, and Cash Drawers.  Common devices used in a point-of-sale application.

The MallMaster has been developed to operate with  "off-the-shelf" standard personal computers.  In addition, Computer Support Services, Inc. offers the MallMaster bundled on point of sale (POS) computer systems that require far less counter space. Other Application Integration:

 

The MallMaster will use Microsoft Excel, if installed on the host computer.  Most of the data access screens in the MallMaster allow the viewed data to be transferred to Excel with one to two mouse clicks.

 

The MallMaster will use Microsoft Outlook Express, if installed on the host computer.  The program allows for Individual/Mass emailing to customers and dealers with attachments.  The program also allows emailing dealer sales activity as well as dealer statements.  Microsoft Outlook Express is used as the email client for such functions.
